Wakeshima Kanon is a Japanese singing cellist who debuted in 2008/5/28 with the single 'Still Doll' (anime Vampire Knight ending theme song). She is produced by Malice Mizer/Moi dix Mois guitarist Mana. And single 'Suna no Oshiro' is also used as anime Vampire Knight Guity (season 2) ending theme song.

Wakeshima started cello when she was three. In junior high school she was part of musical ensemble groups and a cello duo group. In her first year of senior high school was her first time going on stage as a vocalist (at school cultural festival). Later on, to discover what her music potential was, she entered in a Sony audition, and managed to become one of the finalists. She was signed to DefSTAR Records, and debuted in 2008 with the Mana-produced single Still Doll.
